Daichi Vehicle Sourcing is a service operated by Daichi Procurement Solutions, a company registered in Kenya. We act as the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

2. Information we collect

  • Identification: full name, email, phone, WhatsApp number.
  • Enquiry details: vehicle preferences, budget, intended use, source country.
  • Financing referrals: budget range, preferred lender.
  • Technical: IP address, browser, device type, anonymised usage analytics.

3. How we use your data

  • To respond to your vehicle sourcing or fleet enquiry.
  • To facilitate introductions to financing partners you select.
  • To send transactional updates about your sourcing request.
  • To comply with Kenyan import, KRA and customs requirements.
  • To improve the service and prevent fraud.

4. Legal basis for processing

We rely on your consent (forms you submit), contractual necessity (delivering your sourced vehicle) and our legitimate interests (running and securing the service), in line with the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019 and GDPR principles.

5. Sharing your data

  • Overseas auction houses and dealers in Japan, the UAE and the UK, strictly for sourcing your requested vehicle.
  • Inspection partners, shipping lines and clearing agents.
  • Financing partners only when you explicitly request a referral.
  • Government authorities where legally required (KRA, KEBS, NTSA).

6. International transfers

Where we transfer data outside Kenya for sourcing, we ensure recipients are bound to keep your data confidential and use it only for the agreed purpose.

7. Retention

We retain enquiry data for up to 24 months from your last interaction. Transactional records related to imported vehicles are retained for 7 years for tax and regulatory compliance.

8. Your rights

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion.
  • Object to processing or withdraw consent.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner of Kenya.

9. Cookies
